How is it already time to write the weekly again!? I am, as the kids say, shooketh. What to write about today?? Here are your highlights and I'm going to start charging for each thought so £5 per highlight and I will be collecting when I return home :) Highlights: ☀️ P-day!! So fun! We played sports at the chapel again, ate some lunch, and played the most intense game of uno… literally every rule possible was there but it was a good game 9.9/10 (I didn't win so it's not a 10) ☀️ Guess what?? It rained! Surprising I know. We got absolutely drenched going to deliver a Book of Mormon to a referral who wasn't home, but we managed to get the attention of someone on their balcony and had them buzz us in. Side quest complete! Yhe best part was walking back, looking up and doing the mental steps to realized the truck coming our way was heading to a giant puddle of water that I was standing right next to… if I had reaction time that was faster than a snail I probably could have moved, but unfortunately that is not the case and my soaked clothes can testify of what I've shared with you today. ☀️ We had exchanges! I love exchanges and sister Passe is so fun! She's from France and her accent gives me so much joy! We got to do a lot of walking and we were sharing stories about our countries. She told me how every street in France has a bakery and I got to share with her how every road in America has two McDonald's... 'merica moment! ☀️The meal appointments were so good this week! We went to a members house who gave us cards and gift bags! She also shared mission stories with us and let us look through her pictures while sharing vivid stories about all the Elders who tried to run away! We also went out to eat with a member on the way home from the temple and it was so fun! I love the members here and they truly are family! ☀️ We did so much finding this week and I loved it! I met so many cool people and was able to share so many messages on the street and on the buses! The Lord is truly preparing people to learn and I'm so grateful to be a part of it! ☀️TEMPLE ALERT!! We got to go to the temple on Saturday and wow I didn't realize how much I needed it until I was there! If you haven't gone to the temple yet this year, I would highly encourage you to try and make some time to go! I went in with a question that I really needed answered and God does not disappoint! I felt so much peace and I can tell you that temples are the house of the Lord and it's a house He's always inviting us to! This week has flown by and I'm so grateful for each moment I have as a missionary! There is so much joy in the work and I truly have something to be happy about every single day! One scripture that really stood out to me this week was Alma 37:6, 6 Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; I relate a little too much to the small and simple part but I have seen so many moments in which the Lord has made great things happen through my small efforts! I know that no matter how small our offerings may feel, they are always great in the sight of the Lord and He will magnify everything we put in until our simple efforts become mighty miracles! Share what you know to be true this week, even if it's something small, and watch the Lord work! Love you all so so so much and I hope you have a fantabulous week! Keep it real and I'll see you next week! ✌️😁 Hydrate. This is a threat… Sister Russell
