Seven ways to say goodbye ✌️🥹

Where to even begin. I never thought this time would come but here I am writing my final email of the mission. I'm going to skip the weekly recap and just talk about 7 things I've learned on my mission that have changed my life.   I am a child of God  this is something that I've always said but never truly felt until I came on my mission. I know that God has created me, I am His daughter, and He is doing everything He can to guide me back home. This is true for each and every person who has ever lived on the earth!   The Atonement of Jesus Christ is real! I can never truly express how deeply I feel about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. His atonement was the single most important thank to ever happen on the earth and we would all be lost if not for Him. He is the creator, the messiah, our advocate, our brother, and our friend. I will never forget the experiences I've been privileged to be a part of when I've had to sit in my personal Gethsemane with the savi...

Okay quick recap because don't have a long p day today! More on that later   Monday we went to breakfast with the Greenfields and ate some Chinese peanuts that he brought back from his holiday to China. They were the best peanuts I've ever eaten… we then were running back to the car to avoid getting a ticket but Sister Shaban's ankle decided to protest and stop, drop, and roll. Therefore, we got a frozen bag of peas from a good Samaritan neighbor and then went to the emergency room to learn that it was a bad sprain. The wait was t hours However so we had a nice relaxing p-day after that.   Tuesday went finding in reading and had such a miracle as I did exchanges with sister Khoabane! We said a prayer that we would know what we needed to share on the street that day and we felt to share Mosiah 2:41. As we went to talk to everyone, we met this one woman who was talking about how happy she had been as she came back to Christ. We were able to share this verse with...

Currently writing this email while sitting in an Emergency room… not for me, and not my fault! I'll get into that story later though Now for the weekly recap I know you've been anxiously waiting for! I'm going to say it all , so it's probably going to be long.   Monday was the laziest p-day. We went into slough and ate some 5 star Iraqi cuisine. Then wasted away at the flat all day. That is all.   Tuesday is a normal day but we met one of the coolest people ever on the street and got to teach him about the restoration! He loved it so much and said that it answered so many questions for him.   Wednesday went finding in Burnham on the lively high street. We probably talked to a grand total of 10 people. On the way back though, I found some cool flowers, which I was able to grab as we were running past. Why were we running you ask? because we were trying to escape a massive storm that was coming our way… We almost made it, but of course, we talk to every...

Here you go.  Went bowling and absolutely crushed it. Had to show how we do it in North Carolina   We came back home and rested until it was time to begin the day again.  On Tuesday, normal day. We went to staines district council, and counted how many times the District leader said “right” during the meeting (23 times). I got to go finding with sister Castillo, in Slough, we talked to a Jewish Christian who's read both the Bible and the Quran, it was a very interesting conversation needless to say. But he took a book of mormon, so that was cool. Sister Shaban and I were reunited.  On Wednesday, we had interviews. That was really fun getting to go talk to President. We had to do a training which went all right. It was really fun getting to see everyone. I've learned so much from him on my mission and it's so weird that he going off to be a general authority, but he has promised me conference tickets for when he gets his first talk in conference  noth...

I love this meeting! It is so spiritual and it was so great seeing how everyone's ideas can come together and a true direction and vision for the work can come forward! Not much else happened this day so… Onto the next one  Wednesday District council with Riverwey and picnic for lunch.   She's back! Part 60 something I guess   Wednesday was P-Day so it was very fun! We went to Windsor with the sisters and I once again got to see the looming castle and be reminded of how broke I am. We also got to have lunch with Peter and Yvonne once again where Peter taught me how to make a sponge cake in the microwave. I was astounded and astonished by this level of magic that I have never seen before.  Thursday we just worked but we did get to go and make some new hymn books with the relief society which was very great indeed.   Friday was great. We had a weekly planning day did some finding in Maidenhead. I met this one woman who told us that our church would do so much better if we believed in psychics, then proceeded to say that she could predict what would happen in a week. I proceeded to ask her if she could predict if she would make it to church this Sunday. Needless to say, she did not understand my joke. And then proceeded to tell us that she p...
