April 14-21
Happy Easter everyone!!!! Alrighty folks this is going to be a crazy one… or is it…. You decide 🫵
☀️P-day in Hyde park which is always good! 10/10 good walk and saw some really big trees as well as a really cool rock! (District Leader is upset that we have the statue of Liberty and they just have a rock but I feel like it makes sense)
☀️Interviews on chewsday which is always so good! Sister Keeler and I got to tackle the trains and tubes together as we navigated into London and we made it there in one piece (not a reference) which is good! We finished the day with a DA at sister Lee's house where we learned so much about living off the land and got some chocolate eggs!
☀️I got to watch sister keeler get snap, crackle, popped by a chiropractor which was one of my favorite things to witness!
☀️ Weekly planning in a café and tracking down some friends but we have this amazing friend Friday who went MIA, turns out he left his phone on a bus so it was gone for the week. Fret not, he's still on track so no worries!
☀️Exchanges! The dynamic duo is back as I had a companion exchange with my trainer sister Wilkinson! We had so much fun especially as we witnessed the Lord's sense of humor as the fire alarm that has haunted us the last two transfers finally went off during our lunch break so we got to eat out on the street while they cleared the building … also did a district finding in Edmonton and got to watch the Lamb of God at the chapel which was so fun!
☀️ Sunday…. The day of days and the most unforgettable Easter I will ever have… 10 minute into the day we found out that sister Keeler was getting transferred that day and that included me driving around in central london avoiding 15 accidents in the span of 2 minutes! Good times! I am now in a trio with the sister training leaders and we are covering two areas so your prayers are not requested but demanded. That evening though we had the coolest experience as we were a part of a Easter play in a Hindu temple (long story) and the Spirit was so strong! We got to sing in the choir too and the vocal warmup was singing ‘sizzling sausages’ over and over which was a highlight of my week! I am so grateful for the knowledge I have of the Saviour and I'm grateful for the relationship I'm growing with Him! HE.IS.RISEN
This has been a crazy week but I am so grateful for every moment! I have truly been thinking so much about Jesus Christ this week and how much love he truly has for us! One thing that stood out to me the most though is how He prays for us.
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren
Luke 22:32
I find it so amazing that he prays for our faith, that we will have the strength to carry on and once we feel it to share it with others! I have had moment when my faith has been shaken but there's always something telling me to hold on, not to let go. I know that Christ prays for us and our faith and if we hold firm and strengthen each other, we will find peace in this life and the next!
I hope this makes sense, I'm typing so fast but have a great week, love you all so much, and I hope you've had a Happy Easter!!
Buy a bunny this week,
Sister Russell
