April 7-14

These emails come up to quickly but you guys know I can always find something to yap about so let us begin We're going into London today so I'm going to make this quick! ☀️ Chill p-day last week where we watched, you guessed it, Prince of Egypt yet again. Truly one of my favorite movies now and I also got to make some bread so 10/10 very relaxing day! ☀️R.E.G.G.I.E!! We went to visit one our our friends Tan for a lesson at her house and that was accompanied by her precious French bulldog Reggie who has made my entire week, year, and mission. I love that dog! The lesson was good too very spiritual don't worry 👌 ☀️Dinner at Ane's was a highlight! She's the definition of love and humility to me! She even gets us little treat bags! ☀️Got lost twice because we got on the wrong busses and off at the wrong stops but, we made it back eventually and had such a great lessons with our friend Cornelia and her family and we're going to start having family home evening at their house every Thursday so were excited! ☀️ We had a great time at more memebers houses this week and I truly love this area so much! These people are my family now and I'm so grateful for the love they show! ☀️Service at the Nature reserve! We got to clear a field of dried grass for a flower meadow and then they did the unthinkable. They trusted me, a 5’ 3” North Carolinian fighting machine to wield a scythe… I can guarantee everyone did survive and only about 5 fingers and 3 toes were lost in the process, which is why God blessed us with 10 of each! Just kidding it was fine other than the fact that We started working in the wrong field (sorry andrew) ☀️MOISES IS BAPTIZED!!! Moises was my first miracle in the field and he is so amazing! He moved to another coutry to finish school but this sunday he was baptized!! I am beyond happy and I'm so excited to see as he continues progressing! Now to the title of my email, we were in a café planning our week and a man asked us if we were nuns because he had seen we were sisters. We were able to talk about our missions, why were here, and what we were doing. We all talked for a long time and he told us about how in the country where he's from, he's had a lot of bad experiences with a different kind of missionaries that has been hard for him but because of the missionary work our church is doing, it gives him hope for the future! Even as he left he came to our table and said “bye my sisters”! When we are following Jesus Christ and living in His way, we are going to be in the places He needs us to be! I have seen that so much on my mission so far and I think it's amazing the hands in which I've placed trust. God can see it all and He will always direct us for good and if we're listening to that still small voice, we will be in the places He's prepared and it doesn't stop there! BE KIND! It's so simple to share a smile or pay a compliment to those around us and it can truly change their day and even their outlook! Follow the example of Christ and the miracles will never cease! He knows where you're at and what you need even in a small café on a friday morning! Stay real, have fun, live, laugh, love, and try to have a conversation with someone new this week! Share your light! Go Watch the Minecraft Movie, Sister Russell
