Mar 31- April 7

You just got a letter, you just got a letter, you just got a letter, I wonder who it's from! A cracked out sister missionary in England that's who. It's been a great week here so let me begin the recount so you can have your weekly view into my mind (good luck)! ☀️P-day at the Park!!! We got to get in touch with our inner 12 year olds and play a bunch of group games as a district and run around the park before we somehow, unbeknownst to us, ended up in front of the ice-cream shop! So we really just had to stop in and grab a sundae… ☀️ ZONE CONFERENCE! Just so so good! We had So many amazing lessons and I really loved getting to see everyone again! ☀️We got to do some planning at the park and I finally got some watermelon with salt! Literally the best way to eat watermelon and don't hate until you've tried it! ☀️ We've been able to visit with some friends this week either for meals or at their homes and it has been so much fun! I love being able to have discussions face to face with people and im so happy theres been so many opportunities to do that! ☀️Painting a members house!!! So much fun and we got to blast some Disney songs 10/10 ☀️General Conference!!! So amazing this year! I truly loved all of the messages shared and the Spirit that was behind them! There were so many great talks and I feel like they really focused on building our faith in, and knowledge of the Savior Jesus Christ! I would encourage everyone to listen to each message and pay attention to the invitations extended! ☀️One of our friends had an experience where she felt like she should read from the Book of Mormon one night. She said it was such a random feeling but she picked it up and flipped to the verse we had read with her two days prior in 3 Nephi 18! She said the verse really resonated with her, so she went back and started reading from the beginning of 3 Nephi. She read for TWO HOURS and finished the entire section before starting on the next part! God is truly preparing people and I feel so honored to be here witnessing the miracles first hand! CONSIDER THE LILIES! (Matthew 6:28) I literally have had this phrase either pop up or come to mind for the past 3 weeks and it has been making me go crazy! The first couple times I was thinking it was a coincidence but now I know that God was sending it to me for a reason! I was able to do such a deep dive study into the phrase and what it means to me and I know that God was really trying to help me out! This transfer started off hard for me because I tend to get very focused on tasks that need to be completed, so much so that I rarely slow down and take time to appreciate where I'm at and what I'm doing! As I've studied more about the verse, I've realized that if we don't take the time to slow down, we won't be able to see the beautiful lilies around! As I've come to slow down and work on my patience, I've been able to find so much joy that I was not finding as much of before! Lilies are a flower that in Greek and Roman culture, represents nobility and royalty. It is no coincidence that this is the flower they chose to compare us to! We are noble sons and daughters of a Loving Father in Heaven and as we take time to consider our divine nature, we will be able to better understand and appreciate our worth to Him! Work hard, but take time to slow down, breathe, and remember to always consider the lilies! You can always see your nose, your brain just blocks it out (you're welcome) Sister Russell Photos 📸 https://photos.app.goo.gl/vx1qxJYqaM1iPKi36
