"Is that your itchy foot hand?" Another week in Bracknell and I'm so sad it's going so quick! We're already 3 weeks into this transfer and if this was a normal 6 week one, we'd be halfway through! Luckily this is a 9 week transfer and I'm so glad I got called to Bracknell with sister Keeler! She's definitely helping me acclimate to the cold as she keeps our flat at sub zero at all times, but I've got more layers than a croissant so I'll survive…. ☀️Baking Cookies with the young women on Tuesday and getting lost in Bracknell since we didn't have a car for the first part of the week…(I think the zone leaders just wanted to borrow our car because it's clean…) ☀️ZONE CONFERENCE!! Literally such an amazing experience and we were visited by Elder Carl Cook! It was such a great conference and was entirely led by the spirit! I was so happy to receive answers and comfort for a lot of questions I was having about things I wanted to improve! He truly is called by God and I'm grateful for every person who truly acts on the promptings they receive because it blesses people's lives! ☀️ Getting to visit with members and doing service, one of our friends took us out for a picnic lesson at the park where we got to see so many dogs! We also got to go meet with one of the members who set up a dinner area in a tent, it was so much fun and she gave me a flower 🥹 ☀️Weekly Planning at the park constantly yelling “they’re in the trees!” as spiders kept dropping onto us, but we moved into the sun instead which was great until sister keeler got fried. She's okay now though, she's Canadian so they cool down quickly! She also scratched her foot, refused to use my hand sanitizer, then tried to eat some of my foot hence the title of the email. No food grabbing when you have an unclean itchy foot hand. It's probably one of the unwritten commandments... ☀️ Dinner at a new members house with one of the friends were teaching and it was so amazing seeing the friendships form! The members here are so incredible and I love them all so much already! ☀️Sunday naps 🙏 I nearly forgot what a tender mercy Sunday naps are! We choose to take a nap during our lunch break on Sunday and I truly believe mission naps are the closest humans can come to time travel… I close my eyes and they immediately open again as what feels like 5 minutes has been an hour. Cherish your nap time, it's a gift! We also had some amazing lessons with people and God's work is hastening right now… people are literally walking up to us on the street asking to learn more! We stay busy which I am so grateful for and I'm so glad God has called me on a mission at this time! ☀️ FRIEND ON DATE!! Pete is so amazing and he is so prepared to be baptized! He's pretty much teaching us the lessons at this point and he's going to be such a strong light to those around him! Stay tuned for the 25th when he's baptized! I HIT 1 YEAR LEFT ON THE 13TH…. I am so genuinely confused it's not even funny. I stand completely behind the time travel claim because there's no way it's going this quickly. I am so grateful for every moment I've had and I'm trying to cherish every bit because it goes so quickly! One thing I've been really focusing on this transfer is conversion and God's Plan of Happiness. It amazes me how much His plan centers on His love for us and our joy and progression. I am so grateful for the knowledge I've been able to have and it provides me so much direction and comfort knowing as I stay on this course, it has already brought me so much happiness and will continue for all eternity. I've seen people lives truly change as they've gained knowledge of God's love for them! Time to go but I love you all so much and I know that God loves you even more! Have a great week and have fun! Use your turn signal, Sister Russell
