June 23-30

 "I Never Thought I Was a Beauty Person Until I Met You" 


And so marks the end of another transfer for me. This will go down as one of the best times of my mission for sure and it's all thanks to my sister from another mister sister Keeler, the cracked out Canadian. We got transfer news and you'll never guess what's happening… and I'm charging 5£ for the information 


Highlights:
☀️ We died from a stomach bug and sister Keeler got to experience the joys of the first resurrection as she slept for 6 hrs straight and then revived.
☀️ Drug party in the tunnels during the middle of the day that apparently we weren't invited to and not welcomed to stay. Needless to say we got out of that place pretty quick.
☀️ Walking to district council in the rain and met a cool guy named Sam on the way back.
☀️ Our friend Myllon is preparing for baptism and we're so excited! He's really looking forward to it and has been making incredible progress!! 
🎵 Heat Waves been fakin’ me out ðŸŽ¶
Seriously… it's so hot and with no A/C I am D/Ceased  
☀️I found some cool rocks today… very cool 
☀️Sister Keeler keeps me humble as my lack of beauty knowledge scares her. Apparently brushing your hair from the top down and ripping out the knots is "knot acceptable" and my cuticles are 'horrendous'... one day I'll make her proud of me but today is not that day hence the title of the email. 
☀️ Transfer News time…. I… AM… (Pause for effect) 
Staying in Bracknell ðŸŽ‰ðŸŽ‰ I am so beyond excited to be staying in Bracknell for the next 6 weeks and at the same time so devastated that I will be parting ways with sister Keeler. We've been serving together for 15 weeks now and it's gotten to the point where we share the braincell so I'm not sure who's taking custody in the split but the courts will sort it out. She's going to do amazing things in her next area though and I'm going to keep on tearing it up here in Bracknell!

Yes, yes, yes! I loved this quote so much as it really shows how crucial faith is. It is our strongest motivator, but also our last defense. When we have questions that seem to move us backwards, step back to where your faith begins, understand the source, and start building again. Our personal journey is rarely going to be a straight and simple line, but the gospel of Jesus Christ is and joy comes as we live as close as we can to that line! 

Not much this week because I'm lazy and want to not type anymore but please laugh at my jokes and wish my sister a happy birthday as she is getting so old now and she's going to have an entire year before she gets to experience one again ðŸ¥² Love you all bunches and bunches and eat some watermelon with salt!

Sage wrote an e-mail she wanted me to send to everyone!  Hello everyone!      It's been a beautiful (rainy) week over the pond here in Preston, England (we're actually in Chorley but no one really knows nor cares where that is so we just say Preston). I didn't write an email last week (I know it's horrible) because I felt like it would be about 90 pages with how long those days felt. Looking back they went so fast though which is incredible. First 2 weeks!

 November 25, 2024 Sage began her 18 month mission!  Her first week she was able to stay at home and do some of her Missionary Training. She woke each morning at 6:30.  Sage and her dad did about 30 minutes of exercise,  she ate breakfast, dressed, and began her hour of personal scripture study. At 9am she would join in with other missionaries online so they could learn more about the culture in the UK and do scripture study as a class. From 12-1pm Sage had a break so that she could eat lunch and work on packing. She was able to spend time with her sisters, mom, dad, aunt, grandparents, and cousins throughout the week. Sage joined back online with other missionaries from 1-4pm.  She enjoyed her classes and hearing other peoples insights about scriptures. She would give us a summary during dinner and as we played games together in the evenings.  On week 2,  December 2, Sage began her journey to the UK.  Goodbyes, for long periods of times, are NEVE...

Happy Easter everyone!!!! Alrighty folks this is going to be a crazy one… or is it…. You decide 🫵 ☀️P-day in Hyde park which is always good! 10/10 good walk and saw some really big trees as well as a really cool rock! (District Leader is upset that we have the statue of Liberty and they just have a rock but I feel like it makes sense) ☀️Interviews on chewsday which is always so good! Sister Keeler and I got to tackle the trains and tubes together as we navigated into London and we made it there in one piece (not a reference) which is good! We finished the day with a DA at sister Lee's house where we learned so much about living off the land and got some chocolate eggs! ☀️I got to watch sister keeler get snap, crackle, popped by a chiropractor which was one of my favorite things to witness! ☀️ Weekly planning in a café and tracking down some friends but we have this amazing friend Friday who went MIA, turns out he left his phone on a bus so it was gone for the week.
