Better Late Than Never
MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST,
I am over halfway though my mission…. WHAT?!
I can't describe how quickly time is going right now! I feel like I got here 2 days ago! Let me find something I can write about for you now.
We've been to member's houses everyday this week! It has been so great and we've been able to become so close with the people in this area! Sister Shahid and I have been having so much fun and the work has been amazing!
We have been finding so many amazing people and having the most amazing conversations with people!
Sister Shahid got bit by a hamster
We got caught up in a group of people going to a music concert in reading and taught them about the Gospel so that was sick
It was freezing at the beginning of this week so that was ‘cool’
Not many interesting things happened this week, I gave the door to our flat a high-five via my face as I tripped over the ghost of Christmas past and my wonderful companion offered great support as she just doubled and laughed for 5 minutes straight… Comp Unity
MIRACLES: We met a woman who is wanting to learn about the gospel because she grew up in it and had some hard things come up that caused her to walk away. Recently she's been feeling a pull to come back and we were able to have a lesson in her home and teach her about the plan of salvation and dang we were all crying. The Spirit was so strong and I cam truly say that I know that families can be together forever! I don't know what else to write about. I know there's so much more to say but my brain is a wringed sponge and I'm on the train right now so my focus is gone every 2 seconds so I'm going to end this here. But let me just do some reflection for ya real quick

Okay just got back from district P Day so I will resume
GOD IS SO GOOD!
I have had days where I've been sad, and tired, and feeling like I was not cut out to be a missionary, but I can honestly say I've never once felt like I wanted to go home! This place is honestly my second home and I'm so grateful for the friends and family I've made here! I have seen miracles. I've seen hearts healing and lives changing. I have firsthand seen the Gospel of Jesus Christ in full effect in people's lives and truly know that Jesus Christ is the answer to everything. I am so grateful for my Savior who has made this joy possible and for how He has supported me in every moment. This is His work and I'm grateful every day for the opportunity He's given for me to be a part of it! Here's to the next 9 months and remember you are loved
K byeee
Eat your veggies,
Sister Russell
