  I. SAW. THE. KING   Yes, you read that right… I, sister Russell, on Saturday the 21st of June 2025, not only saw, but waved at the King… and he waved back! I am now one step closer to inheriting the crown! We were helping take down a shed for Bishop and let the record show the trust this man has in me as he handed me a crowbar and let me get to work. As we were tearing the roof off though, the city of spiders that was established in the walls began to riot and started crawling from all directions. As many of you know by now, sister Keeler did not miss a beat in running to the furthest corner of the yard and I got the honor of having spiders the size of a baby's hand, crawling all over my hands as we moved the walls and roof. I shall begin the recap  Monday was one of the best P-days I think I'll ever have in the mission. Sister Keeler and I took to the road early after errands to, I don't know, just casually head to a massive, gigantic castle that apparently just exists here like the local Walmart… we went to the Windsor castle and as I walked across the grounds and through the 20+ rooms (only half of the tour), I got to feel broke in every way, shape, and form. It was really such a fun place to go and I only got yelled at for taking pictures once (I suppose that's what happens when you miss the no photography sign).   Gherkin Ball and …. I swear these emails come up so quickly! It feels like it's only been a week… ha ha… you see, because it has. Annyyywayyysss another fabulous time here across the pond and time to give my avid readers what they've been waiting for! Highlights   Monday we went to the Queen of Hearts garden to play pickle ball. Elder Pail and redeemed ourselves and took the win but there was not one pickle found though, probably because they're all called gherkins over here but alas.    Rain, rain, rain and guess what…more rain! It was quite a soggy week but it was so great! We got to walk through the downpours constantly hearing the chorus of "it's raining, no I don't want to hear a message”, fair enough honestly but I met so many precious dogs so it's a win win   Exchanges with Sisters Wanjiku and Martins! It was a blast and we got to do so much finding and a run to the store during dinner so I could chef up some banana bread that could recompense...

Small and Simple Time for everyone's favorite part of the week! Reading my incoherent and rushed Emails! Settle in, grab some popcorn, and let the stories begin!  ☀️previous p-day was a chill one at the flat! I took an amazing nap and then spent the day baking which was amazing!  ☀️Park finding at Lily Hill where I got to meet the cutest dogs! Always a huge fan of finding in the parks  ☀️Finding as a district in Basingstoke! So much fun and I only got about 4 aggressive drivings heading there's and back and missed one exit! Slowly but surely there are improvements! Sign me up for Nascar when I get back ✌️  ☀️ Saturday and Sunday Stake conference! It was incredible and the messages were so amazing! My favorite was one talking about how he took his daughter on a hike and he mentioned the encouragement A father gives, that he couldn't carry her up the mountain, but he would walk every step with her holding her hand. So much fun, I won the second game by chance, and I almost got some bonus points for almost hitting the golf ball collection truck thingy. 10/10 ☀️Picnic Park lesson with our friend which was so much fun and he's doing amazing! Hes recently started praying everyday now and he's talking about the noticeable difference he feels in his life now! ☀️Institute on Thursday and got to meet some really amazing people! I also only missed 3 turns, at least 4 ‘aggressive driving’ warnings, and almost killed 1 pigeon so I'm definitely improving… ☀️ Finding with the STLs in The Lexicon (cool name I know), and Weekly Planning in the flat because, in case you didn't know, it rains in England. ☀️Ward Picnic ...

"Is that your itchy foot hand?" Another week in Bracknell and I'm so sad it's going so quick! We're already 3 weeks into this transfer and if this was a normal 6 week one, we'd be halfway through! Luckily this is a 9 week transfer and I'm so glad I got called to Bracknell with sister Keeler! She's definitely helping me acclimate to the cold as she keeps our flat at sub zero at all times, but I've got more layers than a croissant so I'll survive…. ☀️Baking Cookies with the young women on Tuesday and getting lost in Bracknell since we didn't have a car for the first part of the week…(I think the zone leaders just wanted to borrow our car because it's clean…) ☀️ZONE CONFERENCE!! Literally such an amazing experience and we were visited by Elder Carl Cook! It was such a great conference and was entirely led by the spirit!
